ROLL CALL: Nicole & Keith In The Midst Of Baby ‘Bliss’

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Salma Hayek Says Bye-Bye To Billionaire: In sad celeb-billionaire couple news, Salma Hayek and French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault have split, USA Today reports. “We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled. There will be no further comment,” Hayek’s rep told the newspaper in a statement. They have a one child together, Valentina Paloma, who was born in Los Angeles last September. But hey, if there’s any type of ex you want to remain friends with, it might be the billionaire ones.

Keith & Nicole’s Baby “Bliss”: Keith Urban might not have known what a onesie was before Sunday Rose was born, but that didn’t seem to phase his joy of fatherhood. “Like any of you who are parents yourselves, we’re experiencing the pure bliss of welcoming her into our lives,” the country singer wrote on his Web site. “We’re all doing superbly well and we continue to be absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and well wishes we are receiving. Thank you all for your beautiful notes and prayers.”

Nic Cage’s Vegas Compound For Sale: Nicolas Cage has become quite the real estate mogul, and he’s at it again. The actor’s 4,306-sq.-ft. Las Vegas home, with seven bedrooms and 16-car garage, is going for $9.95 million, the Wall Street Journal reports. The actor has previously bought and sold homes in Bavaria, England, San Francisco, New Orleans, Rhode Island, England, and Newport Beach. Sounds like someone loves moving a bit too much.

“Valley Girl” The Musical: In more Nic Cage related news, his 80’s teen cult hit, “Valley Girl,” that made “gag me with a spoon” a household phrase, is slated to become a movie musical, Variety reports. Sounds, like … totally radical and awesome if you ask us!
