ROLL CALL: Paris Wants A Cheetah & Britney Spears To Sell Furniture?

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Paris’ Big Kitty: During Paris Hilton’s recent trip to South Africa with boyfriend Benji Madden, the hotel heiress reportedly took a liking to the local wildlife. A source at the hotel where Paris was staying abroad, tells The NY Daily News, “Every time Paris saw something she liked, like a woman’s dress, she would ask how much it was. That included a cheetah she saw at an animal park. She asked how much it was and said, ‘If I bought a cheetah, would it run away from me or could I keep it?'” Isn’t this the same celeb that lost her dog in the Hollywood Hills? Step away from the giant cat Paris.

Britney’s Danish Furniture: Could the road to a renewed Britney lie with Danish furniture? Britney’s dad is reportedly in talks with Danish celebrity broker, Claus Hjelmbak, to “bring Danish accent pieces to the United States . . . Britney will be the face of the brand,” a source told Page Six. The source claims Brit has been trying to work out a deal for months. If the pop star is going to be the face of Danish furniture, Claus isn’t letting the cat out of the bag, denying reports of a deal with Brit. If there are two things that go together, it’s definitely Britney Spears and Danish furniture.

Pitt & DeGeneres Become Webslingers: Brad Pitt and Ellen Degeneres can add yet another honor to their distinguished careers. The duo has been nominated for a Webby Award for their work with the Make It Right Web site, which aids in the rebuilding of New Orleans, People reports. It’s nice to see people using the Internet for something other than keeping up with daily celebrity shenanigans.

A Double Dose Of Efron?: Could Zac Efron be playing twins in his next movie? The New York magazine article, “Factory Boys,” about twin brothers, who had a relationship with Andy Warhol, is coming to the big screen, Page Six reports. The twins, Richard and Robert Dupont, reportedly want “High School Musical” star Zac Efron to play them, according to the paper. But who doesn’t want Zac Efron to star in the movie of their life? And does this mean that Andy Warhol is on the verge of becoming the next tween must-have?

Cruise Delayed… Yet Again: In what is usually never good news for a film, the Tom Cruise WWII tale”Valkyrie” has been pushed back for a second time, Variety reports. The film was originally slated to open on June 27, but then was pushed back to Oct. 3. Now the film is now being tossed to Feb. 13, 2009.
