ROLL CALL: Posh Is Naomi Campbell’s Rock

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Balthazar Getty Comes Clean: In a case of stating the obvious, Balthazar Getty has admitted that his marriage to wife, Rosetta Getty, has ended, following the wide circulation of photos that surfaced of him kissing a topless Sienna Miller. “The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved,” he said in a statement released to People on Monday. “In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further.”

Posh Is Naomi Campbell’s Rock: When supermodels are down in the dumps, Victoria Beckham is there to lend a helping hand. During a stint as guest editor of Britain’s Daily Mirror’s gossip column Naomi Campbell (who recently plead guilty to assaulting two police officers at London’s Heathrow Airport) wrote, “When I was going through my hard time recently she was immediately on the phone, asking me how I was doing and saying, ‘I hope you’re well. “She was very sweet.”

Posh Lunches At American Girl: While not attending to the needs to ragging (raging?) models, Victoria Beckham was spotted lunching with son Romeo at the American Girl Place cafe at The Grove in Los Angeles Monday, People reports. “So many kids were coming up to the table to meet her,” an onlooker told the mag. After lunch, mom and son hit up the Quicksilver Youth shop for bathing suits. Sounds like a much more enjoyable afternoon than being stuck on the phone with Naomi, if you ask us.

Usher’s Zippy Baby: Usher is known for his fancy footwork, and it appears his son hasn’t fallen too far from the tree. “He’s like hyper baby, he’s crawling so fast!” mom Tameka Foster told Us Weekly at the 2008 HollyRod Foundation 10th Annual DesignCare Fundraiser over the weekend. “He stands up, and he’s walking around the table, it’s amazing to watch him. I’ve never seen a baby crawl so fast! I call him Dash, like on the ‘Incredibles!’” It might not be long before dad and son are on stage together pop-and-locking.
