ROLL CALL: ‘ Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Nene’s Stripping Past

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Nene & The Pole: In news we’re not exactly shocked about, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Nene Leakes reveals her stripping past in her upcoming autobiography “Never Make the Same Mistake Twice,” The New York Daily News’ Gatecrasher reported. “Yes, I was a stripper – let the judgments ensue. I’m not ashamed,” Nene writes in her book. “[I stripped] for the sake of my son, and to restore my confidence in myself… My son was in private school, his father wasn’t chipping in for pull-ups or food, I had no job and no money coming in, the rent was past due, and the super told me and my roommate that our condo owner was about to put us out. It was about survival.” And when it comes to her wig-loving co-star, Kim Zolciak, Nene dishes it up! “I’m convinced that if she were to lie down on a doctor’s couch, a psychiatrist could surmise within minutes that Kim is a wack job,” Nene wrote. “[Kim] without question [is] the most superficial person I have ever come across in my life. If Kim doesn’t have labels and nice cars and an expensive home, she will literally die … gag me with two spoons.” OK, we were about to stop watching the Bravo show, but now we’re hooked again!

Leighton Lets Loose: Speaking of dancing on tables, “Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester reportedly got a bit rowdy on Saturday night at hotspot Philippe in East Hampton, New York. According to The New York Post’s Page Six, the actress, “was rallying her friends to out-scream the ‘Happy Birthday’ song of a nearby table of girls… Both tables started screaming obnoxiously back and forth at one another until Leighton finally stood up on the table and started dancing.” Oh Miss Blair, please keep your heels off the table, people are trying to eat.

Chesney Couture: In proof that apparently any celebrity can (and will!) get their own fashion line, country singer Kenny Chesney wants to dress you up to look just like him. According to People, the singer is launching, Blue Chair Bay, which is – no shocker here – a causal and laidback clothing line for guys and gals. The singer said his clothes are like, “that favorite T-shirt that you’ve washed a lot that is kind of sun bleached… your favorite khakis, and your shirt that you’ve had forever.” No word if the Goodwill and the Salvation Army are miffed.

Another Reason To Watch ‘True Blood’: In case you’re still not watching HBO’s “True Blood,” series star Ryan Kwanten shows you what’re missing every Sunday in the pages of GQ’s September issue. Keep up the good work (and crunches) Ryan! XOXO – Roll Call!
