Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Sean Penn & Mickey Rourke Call A Truce: In the spirit of Oscar brotherly love, Best Actor nominees Sean Penn and Mickey Rourke appear to have put their reported differences aside after Mickey reportedly called Penn a “homophobe” and “average” last fall in regards to Penn’s performance in “Milk.” According to The New York Post’s Page Six, the duo was spotted at the Sunset Tower hotel pool on Monday afternoon enjoying a few drinks together. “Mickey had his little Chihuahua with him for moral support – he looked a little nervous around Sean. Everyone knows Sean can hold a grudge. It was weird, though – some guy they both knew came over with a video camera and started recording them,” a source told the paper. Who could be mad at Mickey holding a clutch Chihuahua?

Michael Lohan Says He’s Done Blogging: And in some non-truce news, Michael Lohan took one final jab at Lindsay Lohan’s girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, in what he claims is his “final blog.” Just look at Samantha’s tax returns before she “engaged” Lindsay, and then after! Look at Lindsay’s career before Samantha and after! Look at all the things Lindsay accomplished and had going for her before Samantha and after,” LiLo’s dad wrote. “I was with Lindsay when she got out of Cirque Lodge. I saw and experienced the “old Lindsay” with so much hope and promise. I had full confidence in her. Then back came Samantha!” Somehow, we seriously doubt this is the last time we’ll hear from Michael, maybe he’s taking a cue from Ashton and Demi and jumping on the Twitter train?

Whitney’s Port’s Aussie Beau Bags A Record Deal: Who said nothing good ever came from a semi-scripted reality show? Whitney Port’s boyfriend and model-turned-aspiring rocker, Jay Lyon, has landed himself a record deal with Universal Records, according to The New York Post’s Page Six. We’re expecting Whitney-inspired sensitive guitar ballads to drop any day now.

Marvelous Malia and Sweet Sasha Dolls Redux: Remember those Marvelous Malia and Sweet Sasha dolls from the makers of Beanie Babies? The ones the company said were not representative of First Daughters Malia and Sasha Obama. Well, they have been renamed, The Associated Press reported. Now fans can buy “Marvelous Mariah” and “Sweet Sydney” dolls… no word how Mariah Carey feels about a having a plush doll out there with the same name, but we’re guessing it might be a four-letter sentiment.
