Taylor’s Casual Birthday: Taylor Swift celebrated her 19th birthday with a low-key affair on Saturday, People reported. The country cutie had friends and family over to her house in Hendersonville, Tenn., where they dined on sushi, mini beef Wellingtons, bacon-wrapped scallops, and two ice cream cakes. Guests also enjoyed a ping-pong tournament and ended the night with s’mores. It’s nice to see Taylor hasn’t let those Grammy nods go to her head!

“Twilight” Star’s Wife Bummed About Director Leaving: Peter Facinelli’s wife, Jennie Garth, told Access Hollywood‘s Billy Bush in an interview for Access and “The Billy Bush Show” that she’s sad to see director Catherine Hardwicke leave the project. “I can’t understand it because she did an amazing job,” Jennie said. “Everything was spot-on for that film and I hope they can kind of keep it in the same vein.” Hopefully Peter can mesh with “American Pie” director Chris Weitz, who will take over the vampire project – we’ll assume he’s leaving out the sex jokes he’s know, for, but keeping in the teen angst.

New “Survivor” Crowned: Bob Crowley, a 57-year-old physics teacher from Maine beat out pinup model “Sugar” and hairdresser Susie for a million bucks Sunday night on CBS’s “Survivor.” Bob, who is known for his trademark bow tie, is the oldest winner of “Survivor,” and had an impressive winning streak during his time in Gabon. Bob was almost sent packing before he made it to the final three, but his fire-making skills helped him secure a final spot after a tie vote at the final tribal council. During the reunion, Bob told host Jeff Probst that he’s finding creative ways to bring his “Survivor” experience into the classroom. Luckily for his students, he doesn’t teach Home Economics!
