Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Greene’s Fashionable Gig: “New Moon” star Ashley Greene is adding another distinction to her resume. The actress who plays Alice Cullen in “The Twilight Saga” will be working the red carpet for the 2009 MTV VMA Awards, MTV announced on Wednesday. The actress will be part of the award show’s pre-show festivities, where she’ll chat with nominees and celebs about their chic outfits – we can’t help but enjoy the irony of MTV hiring the “Twilight” star best known for losing her clothes to talk to other people about they clothes they managed to keep on!

Kate Sports A Rock – But Is It From A-Rod?: Oh Kate Hudson, you might want to think twice about wearing a diamond ring on your left ring finger before leaving the house. According to The New York Daily News’ Gatecrasher, the actress sported a sparkly diamond band on her ring finger while attending Monday’s Yankees game in NYC to support her reported boyfriend, A-Rod. Reps for the actress and the baseball player did not return calls when contacted by the paper. Kate, your left ring finger has been officially put on notice – we’ll be watching!

Eve’s A Little Confused About Chickens: Rapper and actress Eve apparently thinks chickens grow on trees – at least according to The New York Post’s Page Six. While hanging at Blush Boutique Nightclub at the Wynn in Las Vegas recently, Eve left the staff scratching their heads “She was in the VIP area and got hungry, so she asked if room service could be ordered to the club. They agreed to help her out, but when they took her order, she said she wanted ‘something vegetarian, like grilled cheese or chicken fingers.’ The staff was pretty confused about it,” a source claimed. Cut Eve some slack and just get her some food already – someone in Hollywood is actually eating!

Rachel Ole!: Hey Rachel Bilson, we were happy to see you guest judging last week on “Project Runway,” but we’re even more excited to see you fight a bull in Barcelona! We’ll be cheering from the arena stands, XOXO – Roll Call!
