Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans
Winona, You’ve Got Mail… But No Blog: This just in – Winona Ryder found out there’s information on the Internet! “I don’t use the Internet, but apparently you can find out everything on it,” she told ELLE. “I have my e-mail… and that’s about it. I’ve never read a blog, ever. I feel like it’s taking away that great anticipation of seeing a movie. It used to be you’d hear, like, Al Pacino was making a movie, and you wouldn’t know anything about it. And nowadays, you know it all, like how much [the actors] are being paid. I would hate to see a picture of me and the caption reads, ‘Is she worth it?’” We’d like to make a sassy jab at Winona’s tech phobias, but since we know she’s not going to read this, it sort of takes the fun out of it.
In More Old Hollywood News: In what may be even more cringe-worthy than Winona sounding clueless about the greatest technological advance of the past two decades, we give you Barbara Walters mispronouncing the “Jersey Shore” term “smushing.” Babs features the cast of the MTV series on her “10 Most Fascinating People of 2010” special. We were especially embarrassed for everyone involved when she asked Sammi and Ronnie if they were smushing. See awkward fun, HERE!
It Just Keeps Getting Worse!: Beiber teaching Barbara how to dance!?!? See the 16-year-old and the 81-year-old getting down, HERE! Oddly reminiscent of Snoop Dogg & Larry King’s low-ride joyride. You’ve been warned…
New Couple Alert!?: Blake Lively has graduated from TV star to movie star in the man department. According to People, the gossip on the “Gossip Girl” set is that she’s getting chummy with Ryan Gosling. The duo was spotted at the Standard Hotel in New York City on Thursday night and a People source claimed they were “almost inseparable.” As for Penn Badgley – Blake’s ex and “Lonely Boy” on “Gossip Girl” – we’re pretty sure he especially hates his character’s nickname this morning.
Hobbling With The Stars: We send out our non-snarky well wishes to Kelly Osbourne, who is about to have surgery on both of her feet! “It was going to happen but [‘Dancing with the Stars’] kicked it up about 10 years,” Kelly told E! Online’s Marc Malkin. “They have to break bones in my feet and reset them. I’ve put it off because I’ve not been ready to not walk for a month.” Hang in there, Kelly! We wish you a speedy recovery!
