Healthy Hollywood got on the phone with Romeo during his recent Dr Pepper shoot and he shared his advice for success. “It is very important to be disciplined and believe in yourself, whatever your craft. You need to be original and optimistic. And, say no to drugs. I have never done drugs and I think that helped me stay focused and away from trouble,” Romeo said.

The 32-year-old is considered by Billboard magazine to be the Latino artist of this decade. And, his fans will be happy to know his new album, “Formula Vol. 2,” comes out at the end of February. He’s also got Nicki Minaj, Marc Anthony, Drake and Carlos Santana participating on it. “I am really honored and blessed,” Romeo adds.

Taking care of himself is also very important to Romeo. “I’m into the gym. I need to go at least 4 or 5 times a week. Also, I try keep at healthy weight and try to eat every 3 hours. Healthy is everything. I tell everyone take care of your health. If you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything.”

Yet, his number one feel good tip is simple.

“I need plenty of rest. I haven’t been getting much these days with videos, photo shoots and promotions but I will be sleeping like a baby tonight,” Romeo said.
