“I love everything you do and I think you are a phenomenal person,” he told Ronda in the clip, adding that it would be his “honor” to have her by his side at the annual fete.

The occasion may have been a breath of fresh air for Ronda, who has been recovering from her shocking loss to fellow bantamweight fighter Holly Holm in November.

Despite feeling “embarrassed” about her performance in the match, the 28-year-old told ESPN the Magazine she’s determined to seek redemption.

“I need to come back,” Ronda said. “I need to beat this chick. Who knows if I’m going to pop my teeth out or break my jaw or rip my lip open, I have to f***ing do it.”
