Rosie O’Donnell Returning To ‘Drop Dead Diva’

Rosie O’Donnell is getting in on some more “Diva” action this summer.

The current host of “Rosie Radio” on SIRIUS XM will reprise her role as Judge Summers on Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva,” Access Hollywood can reveal.

Rosie will head to the Atlanta set of the series, which stars former AccessHollywood.com Rising Star Brooke Elliott as a former model who dies and jumps into the body of a plus-size brainaic lawyer, Jane Bingham, next month.

In addition to Rosie’s return, Access has learned that television personality Nancy Grace and Ricki Lake have also signed on for guest spots. Chad Lowe, celebrity chef Robert Ivine and “So You Think You Can Dance’‘s Keith “Tyce” Diorio will also appear on the show.

Paula Abdul, who starred as a judge version of herself in Jane’s dreams during Season 1, will also guest star in Season 2.

“Drop Dead Diva” will return to Lifetime for its second season on June 6 at 9 PM.
