Rosie O’Donnell Would Be ‘Honored’ To Do ‘Glee’; Gwyneth Paltrow In Talks?

Big time “Glee” fan Rosie O’Donnell is psyched for the Season 2 premiere of “Glee,” but would Ro guest star on the FOX series if called upon?

“It’s appointment TV at our house,” she told Access Hollywood at her Building Dreams For Kids Gala in New York City on Monday night. “I would be honored and thrilled to do it. But I have to say, it is one of the shows that all of the kids in the family have watched together since it began, and in a way there’s something really beautiful about just being one of the audience members.”

While she enjoys watching it from the audience, previously – that she’s in if Ryan Murphy asks.

“If they called I wouldn’t say no. It’s my favorite show on TV!” she added.

In related “Glee” news, there could be a major big screen beauty headed for the show’s small screen.

According to E! Online, Gwyneth Paltrow is in talks to guest star on two episodes as a love interest for Matthew Morrison’s character, Will Schuester. She will play a substitute teacher who takes over McKinley High after Mr. Schu falls ill, in episodes reportedly airing in November.

In yet even more news about the hit FOX show, Jane Lynch stopped by “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Monday and dished on her character’s new nemesis, Coach Beiste (played by Dot Jones).

“I love this character. The pathos is just amazing. She wears red lipstick, and then every once in a while, you see tears going down her cheeks. Her feelings get hurt very easily, and so of course, Sue Sylvester goes after her,” Jane explained.

The Season 2 premiere of “Glee” airs tonight on FOX at 8 PM.
