Months before news broke about Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders’s fling, the director and his wife, actress Liberty Ross, spoke to Access Hollywood about working with the young big screen star.
“So amazing, it was literally a dream. I couldn’t really believe it was happening,” Liberty told Access Hollywood in May at the “Snow White and Huntsman” Los Angeles premiere, when asked about starring with Kristen, where she played her onscreen mother.
“It’s all been amazing, really amazing,” the 33-year-old British Vogue model/actress, who has two children with the director, continued.

Rupert told Access that he had trepidations about working with his wife on the fairytale project.
“It was quite nerve racking at first I think,” the director said at the time, when asked about mixing his marriage with his work. “It’s a bit nervous going into it, but then when we started working. We had fun doing it. [Liberty] is very good.”
On Wednesday, following news of an alleged affair between Kristen and Rupert, Kristen issued an apology, where she specifically mentioned boyfriend Robert Pattinson, and Rupert also issued his own apology. (More on Kristen’s apology to Robert, HERE.)
“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” the director said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
