Ryan Lochte is still getting used to the idea that his celebrity crush – Blake Lively – is now a married woman.
Access Hollywood caught up with the Olympic swimming star at Sunday’s ALMA Awards in Pasadena, Calif., where he weighed on the Blake’s recent nuptials.
So is Ryan sad that Blake married Ryan Reynolds earlier this month?
“A little,” he told Access. “But you know what? I’m so happy for him. It’s hard for a celebrity to find true love and hopefully that’s what they found.”
After Ryan recently met Paris Hilton (do we know when/where), some wondered if the gold medal winner has set his sights on another prize?
“No, no, no” he told Access when asked if he’s moved on to the reality TV star. “She’s awesome. She’s a cool girl and I had fun hanging out with her.”
Ryan also told Access that he was thrilled to be at the NCLR ALMA Awards (which airs on September 21 at 8 PM ET on NBC) which celebrates American Latino contributions to music, television, and film – for a reason many of his fans might not be aware of.
“I don’t think a lot of people knew my background, my heritage and a lot of people were stunned that I am half Cuban,” he told Access. “So, it’s definitely an honor to be here.”
