Ryan O’Neal Standing By Farrah Fawcett’s Side In Hospital

Farrah Fawcett is receiving the support of Ryan O’Neal during her time in a Los Angeles-area hospital.

Ryan, who has served as a companion and confidante throughout Farrah’s cancer battle, arrived at her side on Wednesday.

He kept the mood light holding up a shirt that read “Danger: Chemo Crankiness.”

The 62-year-old actress has reportedly been receiving care at a Los Angeles-area hospital since last Thursday.

On Tuesday, Craig Nevius, Farrah friend and the producer of her documentary, “A Wing and a Prayer,” which chronicles her three-year fight against cancer, says the actress is not “on death’s door” and “will be going home very shortly.”

Farrah has been battling with cancer since her diagnosis in September 2006. Following chemotherapy and radiation, she was diagnosed as cancer free, only to find out in spring 2007 that the cancer had returned.

Farrah and Ryan have a son together, Redmond O’Neal, who was charged with a felony count of bringing drugs to a Los Angeles-area jail facility on Tuesday.

Access Hollywood has learned Farrah could be going home from the hospital as early as tomorrow.
