Ryan Phillippe & Abbie Cornish Split

Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish have split, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

However, each member of the former couple is claiming they ended the relationship.

“Ryan ended his relationship with Abbie recently while she was in Australia,” a rep for Ryan told Access. “[He] asked her to remove her belongings from his residence which she did this weekend.”

But a rep for Abbie also released a statement to Access saying that she broke it off with Ryan.

“Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home,” the actress’ rep told Access.

According to People, on Sunday, the actress was spotted taking her personal items from the house she shared with Ryan in Los Angeles. The actor was reportedly visiting a friend with children Ava and Deacon while Abbie removed her belongings from the home.

When asked by the mag if the split was a result of Ryan’s rumored infidelity, Abbie’s rep had, “No comment.”

Abbie, 27, met Ryan, 35, in 2006 while filming “Stop-Loss.” The actress has been on location in Vancouver for the last seven months filming “Sucker Punch” with Vanessa Hudgens and Jon Hamm.

Ryan was previously married to Reese Witherspoon. They divorced in November 2006.
