Ryan Reynolds Reportedly Injured On ‘Green Lantern’ Set

Ryan Reynolds may play a superhero in “Green Lantern,” but the star’s reportedly not invulnerable.

According to E! Online, the actor suffered a “minor injury” on Monday. The injury reportedly affected his shoulder but won’t interfere with production on the comic book film, which is due for release in June 2011.

Us Weekly also reported an on-set injury, claiming that Ryan had separated his shoulder – a report E! Online’s source disputed.

“He’s been keeping ice on it,” a source told Us, adding that the actor “is in lots of pain.”

Wife Scarlett Johansson had better nurse Ryan back to health soon — as previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Warner Bros. has already green-lit work on a sequel treatment to the highly anticipated superhero film.
