Sabrina Bryan: I ‘Want A Chance At The Mirrorball’ On Dancing With The Stars

Sabrina Bryan’s “Dancing with the Stars” elimination in Season 5 still has fans of the show shaking their heads, but she’s hoping that in Season 15, she’ll finally get a chance to go for gold.

“I really, really, really want this chance to be back there,” Sabrina told Kit Hoover and guest co-host Garcelle Beauvais on Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday. “I obviously want a chance at the mirrorball, but for me I really feel like it’s a shot of redemption for my fans.”

The actress and singer, who rose to fame as a member of The Cheetah Girls, is competing against Carson Kressley and Kyle Massey for that final slot on the Season 15 cast.

“I just want to be out on that floor. Put me with a broomstick. I don’t really care. I just want to be out on that floor,” she laughed.

Sabrina was actually Mark Ballas’ first “DWTS” partner and their early exit still haunts her.

“I went out — it was Mark’s first season — and it was definitely disappointing,” she said. “I felt like I really, really disappointed him. He’s such an amazing dancer, teacher.”

There have been a host of “Dancing” changes over the years. Most recently, in Season 14, the dance duel was introduced in the middle weeks.

The new competition number pitted the bottom two couples against each other — and left it up to the judges only (not the public) to choose who went home.

“I don’t know if it was because of me, but I know it does help the viewers,” Sabrina said, referring to keeping audiences from getting upset by a frontrunner going home unexpectedly, something the dance duel eliminates.

“The judges, they’re the professionals, so it’s pretty cool,” she continued of the new feature in “DWTS.”

Although she’s been on the lips of “Dancing” stars since her exit ten seasons ago, Sabrina doesn’t mind that she has to fight for her spot this time around.

“I’m excited [about the campaign]… For me if I got voted [in], that’s my way of really like signifying like, ‘Here I am. I got voted off on Week 6, but you know, I’m ready to fight and work for my spot on the show,’” she said.
