SAG Award Nominations: The Stars React

The Screen Actors Guild Award nominations were announced on Wednesday morning, and this year’s nominees are thrilled! Here’s what the stars had to say:

Kerry Washington, nominated for “Scandal”: “I am truly grateful and proud to be a member of SAG/AFTRA and to be acknowledged by my peers in this way is an enormous honor.”

Mayim Bialik, nominated for “Big Bang Theory”: “This is an lol’ moment if ever there was one since there’s not even a Supporting Actress category and it literally never occurred to me that I would be nominated for this ever ever ever. Ever. And to be nominated by my peers no less!? It’s a tremendous honor for my fellow actors to care enough for my work to let me share the nominee title with such fine leading ladies. I thought the SAG Awards were the ones I could totally chill out about but being nominated means ten times the anxiety and ten times the anticipation and a hundred times the gratefulness. Thank you for this honor! But seriously, are you sure there’s not some mistake!? Aaaahhhhh!”
