Country music singer Sara Evans has filed a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband, Craig Schelske.
She obtained the restraining order Wednesday in Williamson County, Tenn.
Documents say Schelske is not allowed to make any derogatory statements about Evans to the media or make allegations about what led to their divorce in the fall of 2007.
A court hearing has been set for March 15.
The 39-year-old Evans had been competing on “Dancing With the Stars” in October 2006 when she suddenly quit the show and filed for divorce. The divorce proceedings played out publicly, with both Evans and Schelske accusing each other of having affairs. Both denied the accusations.They have three children together.
Evans won top female vocalist at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006.
