Sarah Jessica Parker Not Planning To Bring ‘Sex And The City’ Back To TV

Despite a new report, Sarah Jessica Parker is not making a move to bring “Sex and The City” back to television.

The story is “completely false,” a rep for Sarah Jessica told Access Hollywood.

Over the weekend, Britain’s Daily Mail claimed that the franchise was making a move back to television after plans for a third installment in the film series were left on ice.

“Sarah Jessica Parker will be producing. She was worried about doing another film after the bad reaction to the ‘SATC2’ movie, but a TV show is definitely something she wants to happen,’” a source told the newspaper.

While the ladies aren’t heading back to the small screen as New York City’s Fab Four, they do have plenty of projects in the works.

SJP’s “I Don’t Know How She Does It,” alongside Christina Hendricks and Pierce Brosnan, opens on September 16, 2011.

Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones) will star opposite Paul Gross on Broadway in Noel Coward’s “Private Lies,” beginning November 6.

Cynthia Nixon currently plays Rebecca in Showtime’s “The Big C” and Kristin Davis’ “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” with Dwayne Johnson and Vanessa Hudgens is due out on January 27, 2012.
