It’s been one year since Robin Williams passed away, and his former co-star, Sarah Michelle Gellar is remembering the comedian.
The former “Buffy” star, who worked alongside Robin on CBS’ “The Crazy Ones,” took to Instagram to pay tribute to her friend on the one-year anniversary of his death, using a Ralph Waldo Emerson quote.
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of the intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the beauty in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that one life has breathed easier because you lived here,” she captioned a photo of the famous Boston park bench Robin’s character frequented in “Good Will Hunting” posted on Monday night. “This is to have succeeded.”
Adding, “You succeeded RW.”
Many other celebrities also took to social media to remember the beloved actor. Here’s what they had to say:
“Dear money, send mom” Robin Williams. The first autograph I ever got. You are missed Robin. #RobinWilliams
