Say What? Donald Trump Hoping Rosie O’Donnell’s Talk Show Will Be Successful

It’s too soon to know if Rosie O’Donnell’s “The Rosie Show” is working on the Oprah Winfrey Network — viewership dropped from around 500,000 in her first show to 417,000 on Tuesday.

In a shocking twist, Rosie’s former verbal sparring partner, Donald Trump, is hoping she finds success.

“I felt badly that her ratings were so bad,” Donald told Access Hollywood on Thursday.

“Actually, I would like to see her be successful because everything Oprah does, ultimately, is successful, so I think Rosie will be successful,” Donald added.

While it seems relations between the two have warmed up, Donald has no plans to appear on the program.

“If she called, would you do the show?” an Access producer asked.

“I don’t think so, but I think she’ll be successful,” he said.

“The Rosie Show” airs weeknights at 7 PM on OWN.
