Scott Porter Talks Hart Of Dixie Season 2, Hopes For Return To The Good Wife

Scott Porter’s George Tucker finally made his romantic feelings for Rachel Bilson’s Zoe Hart known on the season finale of “Hart of Dixie,” but with Wilson Bethel’s Wade Kinsella now officially in the picture, expect some trouble between the boys when Season 2 begins.

“There’s gonna be a little conflict between Wade and George that I think the fans are gonna really enjoy because I think you’re going to get into the meat of why they were such good friends and what kind of happened maybe somewhere along the line,” Scott told AccessHollywood.com recently. “You’re gonna really get to see what the true differences between the two of them are [and] just how alike they are as well.”

Before joining “Hart of Dixie,” Scott starred as Blake Calamar, the rival to Archie Panjabi’s Kalinda Sharma on “The Good Wife,” and he told Access that he is excited that his character has been kept alive on the CBS drama, leaving the door open for a potential return.

“‘The Good Wife’ is a show that I would love to go back to at any time and they are so smart, they do such a good job of keeping storylines alive,” he said. “I left in Season 2, they were talking about me last year, keeping me alive and it’s kind of in the minds of viewers.

“I really hope I get to come back at some point, but we’d see a much different, maybe like a much more vulnerable and wounded Blake if we saw him come back because he’s gotten himself into pretty hot water with [gangster] Lemond Bishop and all those characters,” Scott added.

“Hart of Dixie” returns to The CW on October 2 at 8/7c.
