Kit Hoover, host of Access Hollywood Live and Access Hollywood, recently teamed up with FamilyFun magazine for their Capes for Kids Campaign to help kids and families living in shelters. Kit and FamilyFun magazine worked with two venerable volunteer organizations, Enchanted Makeovers and generationOn, to encourage the public and families to make and donate capes to kids who enter homeless shelters. These positive and uplifting gestures are a simple way to empower young children in shelters.
