Peta Murgatroyd
and Maksim Chmerkovskiy took a well-deserved rest after their anniversary
celebration!
The engaged
couple honored their relationship milestone this week with a pair of romantic
social media posts, including one from the comfy-looking confines of their bed.
Captioning
an Instagram photo of her and Maks sharing a pillow, Peta called her fellow “Dancing
with the Stars” pro her “best friend” with whom she can’t wait
to spend the rest of her life.

“You are everything that I’ve always dreamed of and I can’t wait for the next 50 years where I can fall asleep beside you, and fall in love all over again,” she wrote.
Maks shared an equally heartfelt tribute hours earlier, posting an Instagram snap of him and Peta sneaking a smooch while dining at New York City’s Restaurant Daniel.

The 36-year-old captioned that he and his love had such a great time, they’re planning to make the outing an “annual tradition.”
It won’t be just the two of them for long, however.
The couple is set to welcome their first child, a boy, next month, and Peta has been keeping her Instagram followers updated throughout her pregnancy. Most recently, the 30-year-old shared a baby bump selfie at 33 weeks.
Back in July, they appeared to tease the little one’s arrival with what looked like a gender reveal cake on Peta’s birthday.
“Cake and kisses for 3,” Peta wrote at the time, captioning a shot of a birthday cake with blue frosting and blue baby booties.
