Selena Gomez ‘Tired’ Of Justin Bieber Questions, Would ‘Be Seen’ With Zayn Malik

It seems Selena Gomez is sick of being asked about that same old love.

In the cover story for January’s InStyle UK, the pop star said she’s “tired” of fielding questions about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Although the former couple sparked chatter of a possible reconciliation when they were spotted together at a hotel bar in Beverly Hills on Nov. 20, Selena told the mag she’s ready to move the conversation elsewhere.

“It’s really hard because I’m a nice person. I’m just tired of talking about it,” she said of discussing the “Sorry” singer, from whom she split in 2014 after three on-and-off years together. “I never intended for my life to become a tabloid story.”

Selena did open up about life as a single gal in the spotlight, saying that her fame can sometimes tarnish a date before it even happens.

“I hate it,” she said. “It’s hard and I’m weirded out by the idea that a guy has Googled me before we meet, and that has happened.”

The 23-year-old hit it big as a Disney star when she was just a teen, but has cultivated a more mature persona in recent years. However, Selena said her baby-faced looks are still potentially problematic for her love life.

“I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys,” she said.

She may not be ruling out younger suitors, though. According to the mag, Selena acknowledged Zayn Malik romance rumors with a “sly smile.”

“If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him. Just kidding, but not kidding,” Selena said of the former One Direction member, who is nearly six months her junior.

Selena certainly isn’t the only young female celebrity watching her personal life unfold in the public eye. InStyle UK reported that she gives close pal Taylor Swift guidance in “the boy department.”

“People have this fantasy that we’re in our underwear, having pillow fights. We just play good music – sometimes live – and eat, and hang out,” Selena said of her and Taylor’s friendship, adding that the “1989” superstar offers her fair share of advice, too.

“I’ll be like, ‘I think I totally screwed up,’ but Taylor says, ‘Actually, you didn’t’ and shows me how to make my mistakes into something great,” the “Good For You” singer said.
