According to the website’s sources, producers reached out to the star, and said that he must make a decision in the coming weeks.

Not long after Seth’s first turn at the Oscars host spot (which was criticized by some for things like his opening song, “We Saw Your Boobs”) he told his Twitter followers he would not be back.

“Would you host the #Oscars again if asked?” a fan asked the “Family Guy” creator on Twitter.

“No way. Lotta fun to have done it, though,” Seth replied.

A spokesperson for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released a statement to Access about the report.

“Given the fact that we just confirmed Craig Zadan and Neil Meron to produce, we understand how people might speculate in that fashion, but it’s really way too early to have any idea who our host might be in 2014,” the statement read.
