Shia LaBeouf On His Diane Sawyer Crush: ‘I Don’t Want To Do Dirty Stuff’

Shia LaBeouf has made an on-air overture to his admitted celebrity crush, “Good Morning America” anchor Diane Sawyer.

“Hey Diane, I think you’re very beautiful,” the “Eagle Eye” star said into the camera on Tuesday’s “Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” before he and the late night host shared a laugh.

Shia’s crush on Diane was revealed earlier this week in Maxim magazine and Jay didn’t miss the opportunity to ask the star about his admission.

“Yeah, I don’t think there’s anything wrong about that,” Shia said about swooning over Diane. “I look at her and I feel, you know, she’s cute.”

But Diane’s husband, filmmaker Mike Nichols, needn’t worry. Shia’s crush on the newswoman seems to be more pure hearted than “Mrs. Robinson” style.

“I don’t wanna do dirty stuff, just like go to the park,” he said. “Have her read to me, some fruits, talk about the economy.”
