Simon Cowell: ‘I’m Off Women Now’

Ryan, Paula and Randy might want to think twice before setting up their “American Idol” co-star, Simon Cowell, up with any eligible bachelorettes — the sharp-tongued judge said he is swearing “off women.”

Following the announcement of his split with girlfriend Terri Seymour after dating for six years, the “Idol” judge has declared that he is done with women, Britain’s Daily Mirror reported.

“Don’t worry about me… I don’t need a lonely hearts ad. I’m off women now,” Simon told the paper at the Music Industry Trusts’ Award ceremony in London on Monday.

Simon might have sworn off women, but he appears to still be friends with them — even his ex.

“Everything’s fine between me and Terri, we’re still friends,” he said. “In fact that was her on the phone just now.”

Staying close with his exes is apparently a trend for Simon.

“I’ve always been very close to all my ex-girlfriends,” he added. “We’ve never fallen out, they’re like my best friends.”

Towards the end of the evening, Simon appeared to have lifted his self-imposed ban on the opposite sex. He was reportedly spotted at the China Tang bar in the Dorchester hotel with a group of women celebrating with drinks.
