Snooki & JWoww’s New Health Kick: Dropping Pounds & Quitting Smoking

The ladies of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” aren’t exactly known for their modest lifestyle, but two of its stars, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, are hitting the gym and laying off a few of their vices.

Snooki and JWoww – along with co-star Deena Cortese – stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Monday, where the Princess of Poughkeepsie revealed how much weight she’s recently lost.

“I decided to get fit again. I’ve always been very athletic so getting back into it feels good,” Snooki said, revealing that she’s lost “over 20 pounds.”

“Don’t get too skinny now, you look perfect now,” Kit Hoover told Snooki.

“I called her Slim Jim today,” Deena joked.

”[I weigh] like 102,” she said. “I want to be like a hundred steady, but 102 is great.”

Snooki’s not the only “Shore” lady with health and wellness on her mind. JWoww revealed that she’s given up two things many struggle to kick.

“Recently, I quit smoking and caffeine,” the brunette beauty explained. “For a couple weeks.”

Part of JWoww’s inspiration to quit was boyfriend Roger.

“He helped me quit smoking. That’s his thing. Fitness, health, having fun,” she continued. “He kind of gave up [convincing me to quit] and then looking at him giving up I was kind of sad, I was like, ‘Oh, he’s not pressuring me anymore.’”

In addition to giving up cigarettes and caffeinated beverages, JWoww told Billy and Kit that she stays fit with a combination of “hot yoga and something similar to CrossFit.”

“Jersey Shore” airs Thursdays at 10 PM on MTV.
