Carrie Underwood’s fellow celebrities were part of the millions who tuned in for NBC’s “Sound of Music Live!” and they praised the singer on Twitter for her performance as Maria von Trapp.
“Y’all did great,” fellow “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson Tweeted to Carrie on Thursday night. “Brandon & I just finished watching & what an intense 3hrs that must have been 4 all of y’all! #singinglive.”
“Scandal” star Bellamy Young ‏was also impressed.

Another “Idol” alum, Kellie Pickler, also gave Carrie some big praise.

Miranda Lambert also shared her support.

Thursday night’s performance of the “Sound of Music Live!” was a huge hit for NBC, bringing in around 18.5 million viewers.
