Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are still in touch following their tumultuous break-up last weekend, People reported.

“Sam and Lindsay are speaking,” a source told the mag. “But Sam has begged Lindsay to get help.”

The source claimed Lindsay is “exhausted” and “insecure” in the wake of the split.

“Lindsay, despite appearances, is insecure and has relied on Samantha and their relationship to build her up,” the source said. “Lindsay barely sleeps, which explains a lot of her behavior. She can’t even sit down for a minute without pacing around the room. It’s really sad.”

Both girls have certainly been active since the couple called it quits – on Tuesday night, Lindsay got a new tattoo at Shamrock Tattoos in West Hollywood and was reportedly spotted at Chateau Marmont on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Samantha was seen in Las Vegas on Monday and performed at a DJ gig in San Francisco on Friday. But despite the DJ’s busy schedule, the source said that Samantha has had trouble letting go.

“While Sam doesn’t want to deal with the drama, in a sick way she is obsessed with this part of Lindsay’s behavior,” the source added. “It’s like she doesn’t want it, but when Lindsay stops writing, she begins to miss it.”
