“Spartacus” star Liam McIntyre has been cast in “The Flash.”
Australian actor Liam will play Mark Mardon (Weather Wizard). His character is the brother of pilot episode villain Clyde Mardon (Chad Rook).
As it turns out, Mark has more in common with Clyde than DNA. He too has a similar ability to be able to control the weather, and he heads to Central City with plans to use his powers to find the man who shot his brother – Detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin).

Liam will appear in Episodes 115 and 116 this season on The CW show.
Sister show “Arrow” has a host of Liam’s former “Spartacus” co-stars. Manu Bennett plays Slade Wilson (who returns to that show later this year). Additionally, Cynthia Addai-Robinson plays Amanda Waller and Nyssa al Ghul is played by Liam’s former “Spartacus” love interest, Katrina Law. Another Sparty member in the “Arrow” and “The Flash” family – Nick Taraby. He was the featured villain that linked the two crossover episodes of the shows at the end of 2014.
