LOS ANGELES, Calif. (December 14, 2006) — With great excitement, the producers of Dancing with the Stars – The Tour announced today that Jerry Springer and Sara Evans are putting their dancing shoes back on and joining select shows on the tour. Dancing with the Stars – The Tour kicks off Tuesday, December 19th in San Diego and will perform in 38 arenas across the country. Sara Evans will perform with the tour January 21st at Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville. Jerry Springer will join the tour January 5th at Allstate Arena in Chicago and will also perform January 7th at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, January 9th at Wolstein Center in Cleveland, January 17th at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati and will join Sara Evans and the tour in Nashville January 21st.
Jerry Springer exclaimed, “Dancing has become my life! My feet won’t stop moving and this will be a great promotion for my new national chain of dance studios (just kidding.)”

Jerry Springer and Sara Evans will join the all-star cast of Dancing with the Stars – The Tour which includes Harry Hamlin, Drew Lachey, Joey Lawrence, Joey McIntyre and Lisa Rinna and their professional dance partners Cheryl Burke, Kym Johnson, Edyta Sliwinska, Karina Smirnoff and Louis Van Amstel.
