STAR SPOTTINGS: Britney Steps Out & McCartney Plays Out

LOS ANGELES – Earlier this week, Britney Spears managed to flash the world her behind while performing a rather un-ladylike climb into the backseat of her SUV. Perhaps having her bottom splashed across television screens and magazines the world over made an impact because Spears appeared to make a slightly more modest exit from her flashy car in Beverly Hills yesterday.

Spears’ journey to the 90210 found her visiting an Italian eaterie. As you can see from this snap, Brit’s determination to keep her skivvies completely undercover remained strong as she made this polite leg cross. It seemed to work. Despite her really short dress, Brit’s briefs remained hidden.

Also trying to keep her underwear undercover was former “Laguna Beach” star Kristin Cavallari. Stepping outside the pad she now shares with boyfriend Nick Zano, Kristin bared her backside to no one, leaning over face first in front of the photogs.

NEW YORK – In the big apple, Liverpool’s favorite son, Paul McCartney played a very hush-hush set at the Highline Ballroom. The small club in the Meatpacking District was filled to capacity with several hundred fans who had to line up early to get wristbands on a first come, first serve basis. McCartney, pictured here on stage, played for 90 minutes mixing classics with some of the new songs from “Memory Almost Full.”

Among the tunes this famous face churned out? “The Long and Winding Road,” “Blackbird,” “Dance Tonight,” “Hey Jude,” “I’ve Got A Feeling,” “Back In the USSR,” and “Let It Be.”
