Stars React To Hillary Clinton Concession Speech

Hillary Clinton delivered her concession speech on Wednesday
after losing the presidential race to Donald Trump.

In her speech, she thanked her supporters and shared some
advice, including for young people.

“You will have successes and setbacks too. This loss
hurts, but please, never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth
it,” she said.

She also shared a message for “all the little
girls” who were watching her as she gave her concession speech.

“Never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and
deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve
your own dreams,” she said.

Celebs, including Ellen DeGeneres, J.K. Rowling, Maria
Shriver and more, shared their reactions to her
words on Twitter.

“Thank you @HillaryClinton for your speech and for your
endless bravery. We are stronger together,” Ellen wrote.

“I really needed to cry. @HillaryClinton, what a speech,” J.K. Rowling tweeted.

Patton Oswalt called the former candidate’s speech “beautiful” on his Twitter page.

“What a beautiful speech. And this is a BEAUTIFUL country. Gonna fight for it to stay that way. #StillWithHer,” he posted.

“Mrs Clinton looking beautiful, sounding smart &
wise. I know how disappointed u feel. I feel it too. This is painful & will
be 4 a long time,” Maria Shriver wrote on Twitter.

Actress Kristen Schaal tweeted, “@HillaryClinton just gave an amazing speech. #imwithher.”

“LOVED @HillaryClinton’s speech. So honest and humbling. Thank you for your words of wisdom,” Evelyn Lozada wrote.

While it was unclear whether they saw her concession speech, some celebs took to social media to thank the former candidate for running.

“Dear @hillaryclinton THANK YOU. I am so sorry that we couldn’t carry you over the finish line. Thank you for your indefatigable hard work, your brain, your dignity, your strength, your resilience, your power, and your determination. No one else on earth -male or female – could’ve gotten this far against the avalanche of sh** they threw your way. Lauren Holly tweeted, “Thank you @HillaryClinton for your decades of service. You made a difference for so many. You will never be forgotten.”
