Stefon Heading To ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’

Stefon is gearing up to make an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

Over the weekend, it was confirmed that the “Saturday Night Live” character, brought to life by Bill Hader, will make an appearance on Seth’s late night show.

“CONFIRMED: Stefon will make an #LNSM appearance sometime in the future,” read a Twitter post from the official show account on Saturday, when Seth was doing a panel at the Austin-based South by Southwest film and music festival.

Seth and Stefon, the NYC clubbing expert, famously “wed” during Bill’s final “SNL” appearance as a regular cast member, in May 2013.

While promoting “Late Night” back at the Television Critics Association Winter Tour in January, Seth was asked if there was a possibility of Stefon or Drunk Uncle (Bobby Moynihan) appearing on “Late Night,” and he suggested that wasn’t the plan.

“Not necessarily those characters, but it would be fun, obviously, to develop characters like that who can belong on our show as opposed to ‘SNL,’” Seth said at the time.

We’re glad times have changed.
