Stern Responds To Cosby Book Allegations On CNN

For the first time, Howard K. Stern, has gone on record, responding to claims in Rita Cosby’s new book,“Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death.”

Stern appeared on CNN’s “Larry King Live” on Wednesday to answer charges made by Cosby including one that Stern engaged in a homosexual relationship with Larry Birkhead.

“Cosby’s book also claims there was a videotape, which she concedes she never saw – that shows Howard and Larry engaged in gay sex. How do you respond to that?” host Larry King asked Howard.

“It’s totally impossible and if Rita Cosby really thought there was a tape, then she should have tried to watch it,” Stern said. “You don’t rely on other people’s words for something as salacious as that.”

Stern was livid during his appearance on “Larry King Live” over Cosby’s controversial book.

Repeatedly painted as an enabler, Stern addressed the shocking photos recently unearthed showing a seemingly intoxicated Anna Nicole. In one photo she has what appears to be vomit, dripping from her mouth. In two more photographs she is holding daughter Dannielynn. While she is smiling in one of them, the other shows Anna with her eyes half-shut.

“They selected the one picture where Anna had a strange facial expression to make it appear that Anna was on drugs when there’s another picture taken literally a second earlier and it’s night and day,” Stern explained.

King discussed with Stern another photo, which according to Cosby’s book was taken by Stern. The photo, according to the book, shows Anna, embracing her son Daniel, moments after he died.

Stern confirmed on “Larry King Live” he took the photo, but said he only took the picture because a grieving Anna Nicole asked him to.

“It was not something I wanted to do, but at that point I would have run through a brick wall if I thought it could make Anna feel better,” he said.
