While reps for Steven Tyler have stayed mum amid rumors the “American Idol” judge, 63, proposed to girlfriend Erin Brady, 38, recently, a jewelry designer who created the ring that’s causing all of the engagement rumors has spoken out.
“Having made Steven’s jewelry for so many of the past years, it was an honor to be part of his future… With all my love to Steven and Erin,” Loree Rodkin told Us Weekly.
Access Hollywood has learned the rocker picked out the 5-carat diamond sparkler Erin is now sporting on her ring finger.
Erin’s gem is set on a platinum band encrusted with glittering micro pave diamonds.
Steven and Erin aren’t the only celebs to sport baubles from the designer. Robert Downey Jr., Cher, Madonna and Elton John are all clients.
Several pieces Loree designed were in the late Elizabeth Taylor’s collection – and sold at the recent record-setting auction of the actress’ jewels.
Rumors Steven and Erin had gotten engaged were sparked over the holidays when Erin was spotted wearing the ring during their trip to Maui, on her left hand.
The couple has been dating since 2006, coincidentally, the same amount of time as Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, who became engaged over Christmas.
Steven was previously married to Cyrinda Foxe, a former model for Andy Warhol, and later, to designer Teresa Barrick.
