“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” are known for their over-the-top reality show behavior, but things took a turbulent turn at their reunion show last week in Atlantic City.
In a clip released by Bravo on Monday, Teresa Giudice, the housewife in the middle of a bankruptcy scandal, is featured on camera shoving reunion moderator, Bravo executive Andy Cohen.
The scene, which occurs about 1:06 into the clip, starts out with a loud, almost primal scream. The cameras then cut to Teresa, who can be seen shoving Andy away from her as he falls onto his chair.
However, Andy wasn’t the only star to suffer Teresa’s wrath. She also can be seen being restrained by Andy as she tosses a pillow and screams, “I f***ing hate her,” as fellow “Housewife” Danielle Staub walks off set.
At another point in the clip, Teresa screams, “Do not break up my family!” as she stands in front of a seated Danielle.
Additionally, Jacqueline Laurita, is also seen being restrained by Andy, when Danielle walks off the set a second time.
Reps for Teresa did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Access Hollywood, however on Monday afternoon, Andy did Tweet about the incident.
“All I can say is that this might be our best reunion yet- Mouth on floor for much of it. Oh and Teresa is STRONG,” he wrote.
Andy also issued an official statement to Access on Monday night.
“It might be the best reunion we’ve ever done. I was shocked with what happened. There are fights, tears and hugs,” he said in his statement to Access Hollywood.
The finale of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs on Monday at 10 PM on Bravo. “The Reunion Special” airs in two parts, beginning next Monday at the same time.
