It's a good day for "Suicide Squad" fans.
The upcoming anti-hero ensemble dropped its first set of character posters on Sunday, along with a confirmed airtime for the new trailer.
Director David Ayer shared the news on Twitter, announcing that the anticipated clip will debut on Tuesday night during The CW's "Dawn of the Justice League" TV special.
In addition, the filmmaker revealed a one-shot character illustration of the Joker, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and others, adding the tagline "Worst. Heroes. Ever." to his post.
The movie's cast quickly followed suit, as stars Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and more all shared their individual posters across social media, while the official "Suicide Squad" Facebook page provided the rest.
Based on a cult favorite DC Comic series, "Suicide Squad" follows a misfit band of prisoners enlisted to carry out a top-secret government mission in exchange for criminal exoneration.
As previously reported, the first teaser made a surprise debut at San Diego Comic-Con back in July.
Also starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney and Viola Davis, the DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. production is set to hit theaters on Aug. 5.
"DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League" will air Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 9:30 ET/PT on The CW.
