Based on a cult favorite DC Comic series, “Suicide Squad” follows a misfit band of prisoners enlisted to carry out a top-secret government mission in exchange for criminal exoneration.
As previously reported, the first teaser made a surprise debut at San Diego Comic-Con back in July.
Also starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney and Viola Davis, the DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. production is set to hit theaters on Aug. 5.
“DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League” will air Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 9:30 ET/PT on The CW.
