‘Supergirl’/’The Flash’ Crossover Teaser Drops

The first teaser for the
“Supergirl”/The Flash crossover has dropped.

In the very short clip from CBS, Grant Gustin’s The
Flash brings his super-speed to run around the “S” from the house of
El, before he stops in his tracks, just as Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl lands
(fresh from flying) on the ground.

Grant is playing The Flash on
“Supergirl” on March 28.

“We had a lot of fun,”
Jeremy Jordan, who plays Winn on the series, told Access Hollywood at PaleyFest
2016 over the weekend. “He was only there for like a few days because he
was filming his own TV show, so we had to do everything fast and furious, but
Winn has a lot fun with The Flash and sort of geeks out.”

The Flash comes over to National
City (where “Supergirl” is set) from another Earth (a topic that has been
explored on the current season of “The Flash” on The CW).

“Another Earth, another dimension.
He’s trapped there, and he comes at both a really inopportune time and a good
time to show up,” Executive Producer Greg Berlanti told Access at the same
event. “She needs a little extra help, and they cut a deal.”

“Glee” alum Melissa Benoist,
who plays Supergirl/Kara, said she had a blast working with Grant on her CBS
show.

“Working with Grant was so
awesome and I can’t wait for everyone to see the episode because I think it’s
exactly what you want to see when The Flash and Supergirl come together,”
she said.

And there will be a little
knowledge exchange between the two emerging superheroes.

“I think what they can do is
learn from each other and that’s what so wonderful about the episode is that
they’re working together, but at the same time kind of giving and taking and
being like, ‘Oh, this works for you and that works for me and hmmm,'”
Melissa said. “Superhero college and trial and error.”

The Flash appears on the March 28
episode of “Supergirl,” airing at 8/7c on CBS.
