Taye Diggs & Idina Menzel Split After 10-Year Marriage

Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs are going their separate ways.

The couple, who has been married for over 10 years, has announced they are separating.

“Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have jointly decided to separate at this time,” reps for the couple told People. “Their primary focus and concern is for their son. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time.”

The actors, both vets of The Great White Way, met when they co-starred in the original Broadway production of the ‘90s hit musical, “Rent.”

They got married in 2003.

Idina and Taye, both 42, welcomed a baby boy, Walker Nathaniel, on September 3, 2009.
