Taylor Swift Sends Sweet Message To Struggling Fan

Taylor Swift has once again reached out to help a young fan in need.

The pop sensation responded directly to a teen blogger who recently shared fears about starting a new school year.

Taylor offered compassion and support for Stormie, whose “protectingswift” Tumblr page is filled with admiration for the 25-year-old star.

“I’ve been feeling so alone lately and left out of everything and so terrified of school starting and being even more alone next week,” Stormie posted on Aug. 6.

“Knowing taylor is there is really comforting,” she added, without knowing the “Bad Blood” singer would actually read the message – let alone acknowledge it.

“I hate that you’re feeling this way,” Taylor wrote back just hours later. “It’s so hard not to dwell on our fears and doubts…but in reality, we just have to go through life not knowing what’s next.”

Taylor told Stormie that it’s perfectly normal to be nervous and even afraid, but suggested that embracing the unknown is the best way to move through it.

“It’s scary but it’s also the wildest, most thrilling part of life,” she said. “Just when you think it’s going to get worse, it could get better instead. It WILL.”

The music mogul continued, assuring Stormie that no matter how difficult the present moment may be, the best is always yet to come.

“Knowing your worth sometimes comes without any proof at all. You’re worth more than flaky friends and people who dismiss you or underestimate you,” Taylor said. “Sometimes it seems like that’s all you get, but it’s not all you’ll ever get. Believe that. Love you.”

Stormie told her readers that she saw the message at “three thirty in the morning” and couldn’t wait to share her gratitude for Taylor’s kind words.

“I’m in shock. I’m so thankful for this. I really needed to hear it tonight and im really grateful to have her in my life,” she said. “This really helped me and I hope it helps everyone else.”

What Stormie and her fellow Swifties may not have expected to learn is that they help Taylor in their own special way, too. The “Shake It Off” singer told her young admirer that even pop stars need a boost now and then.

“You’ve always been there with kind, thoughtful words for me when I’m down,” the Grammy winner wrote. “I just need you to know how important you are.”
