Taylor Swift Surprises Couple At Their Wedding With Performance & Handmade Gift

Wedding crasher! Taylor Swift made one lucky bride and groom’s
“Wildest Dreams” come true on their big day.

The pop superstar performed an acoustic version of her hit
“Blank Space” during newlyweds Max Singer and Kenya Smith’s reception
in New Jersey on Saturday, as delighted onlookers captured the moment on social
media.

“So Taylor Swift showed up to my cousin’s
wedding,” guest Gage Simmons tweeted, captioning a video of Taylor belting
her megahit from the piano.

“Taylor Swift just crashed my sister’s wedding,”
Madeline Berg wrote, posting a Twitter photo of the superstar posing with the couple amid a sunny backdrop.

Taylor’s appearance apparently wasn’t a shock to everyone. People reported that the 26-year-old had been coordinating plans with Max’s sister, Ali, for months.

According to the mag, Taylor received a letter back in April
in which Ali told her the emotional story of how Max and Kenya got married at
his mother’s hospital bedside so she could witness their special moment before she
passed away.

Taylor not only showed up to honor the couple at their
seaside celebration over the weekend, she also didn’t arrive empty-handed. People
reported that Taylor presented Max and Kenya with a handmade card featuring the
“Blank Space” lyric “So it’s gonna be forever” painted in
watercolor on the front.

The singer herself commemorated the occasion, posting two Instagram
photos in which she’s smiling alongside the happy husband and wife – including
a fun shot she captioned “third wheel.”

Max and Kenya’s family and friends seemingly aren’t the only ones touched by Taylor’s gesture. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that her recent ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris, liked one of her pics from the festivities.
