Taylor Swift Wishes Squad Member Lena Dunham A Happy 30th In Sweet Shout-Out

Taylor
Swift is celebrating a big milestone for one of her original squad members –
Lena Dunham!

The
“Girls” star turned 30 on Friday, and received a special shout-out
from Taylor on social media in honor of the occasion.

Taylor
collected a series of photos showing sweet moments from throughout her and
Lena’s friendship, and posted the collage to Instagram with a heartfelt caption
letting her pal know the personal impact she’s had.

“I can’t help but think
about how different my life would’ve been without our long talks, arts and
crafts projects, and running-into-each-others’-arms-hugs,” Taylor wrote.
“Thanks for being you, Lena. Everyone who knows you is better because of
it.”

In her post, the pop superstar
also called Lena “one of my favorite people in the world” – and the
feeling appears to be mutual.

For Taylor’s 25th birthday in
2014, Lena presented the “New Romantics” singer with a necklace
bearing the face of her beloved cat, Meredith.

Taylor shared a snap of the
gift on Instagram at the time, calling it her “new most cherished
possession.”

Taylor and Lena have grown
close in recent years, with Lena appearing in Taylor’s “Bad Blood”
video in 2015 and joining her onstage during her star-studded “1989”
tour.

It might not be too late for
Taylor to make a cameo in Lena’s prized project — “Girls” is currently
shooting its sixth and final season for HBO.
