Tea Leoni Calls Off Toronto Film Festival Appearance

Tea Leoni has canceled her appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival, People reported.

The actress was to attend the premiere of her film “Ghost Town.”

The cancellation comes in the wake of husband David Duchovny entering rehab for sex addiction, which the “Californication” star revealed to Access Hollywood last week.

“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” the actor previously said in a statement released to Access. “I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”

The couple married in 1997. They have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.

Showtime, which will begin airing the second season of “Californication,” on September 28, wished David and his family well upon learning the actor had entered rehab.

“All of us at Showtime wish David and his family the best during this very private time,” a rep for Showtime said in a statement released to Access.
