‘Teen Mom’s’ Amber Portwood Shoots Down Pregnancy Rumors: ‘Absolutely False’

Amber Portwood, one of the young mothers featured on MTV’s “Teen Mom,” is striking back against recent tabloid claims that she is pregnant with her second child.

“The rumors are absolutely false,” Amber told Us Weekly in a statement on Friday. “I’m not pregnant.

“I’m working hard to be the best mom to my daughter,” she added, of her 2-year-old daughter, Leah. “I have no plans to have more kids anytime soon.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Star magazine reported on Tuesday that Amber may be pregnant with her second child.

The mag claimed that the 20-year-old Indiana native took a home pregnancy test – yielding positive results — on December 4, and that Amber “has been with so many guys in the past three months,” she reportedly has “no idea” who fathered the child.

It’s been a tough few months for Amber. The reality mom was reportedly reunited with her daughter Leah in late November after the child was placed with her father (Amber’s ex-fiance, Gary Shirley) following an investigation by Child Protective Services.

Amber was seen kicking and punching Gary on the MTV show while their daughter was in the room, and was subsequently charged with two felony counts and one misdemeanor count of domestic violence and battery, for her alleged actions against Gary.

Amber tearfully spoke about the violence with Dr. Drew Pinsky on a “Teen Mom” reunion show on MTV, where she claimed she didn’t remember hitting her ex multiple times.

“I feel like I hit him one time,” she told Dr. Drew, while crying. “And then I watched [the fight] and I’m like hitting him multiple times.”
