Teri Hatcher is back on the set of “Desperate Housewives,” but she has several other big projects in the work.
“I’m turning 45 this year and that’s a significant birthday,” Teri told Access Hollywood. “[I decided] I should make a 45-year-old bucket list, like things I want to do between now and December.”
And Teri has a rather ambitious bucket list – speak French fluently, write a novella, play four songs on her guitar and take on a triathlon.
And the last one on her list happens this Sunday and requires a half mile swim, 18 mile bike ride and four mile run, all benefiting Childrens Hospital Los Angeles – and Teri’s been training like mad.
Teri admitted she’s a little nervous about competing in the event.
”[I’m] always feeling nervous, I don’t think that’s going to go away,” she said.
But for the swim portion, Teri had to overcome her fear of a possible unwanted swim companion – a shark.
“I thought, ‘OK! Now I have to be able to face my ocean fear,’ and you know, the first time I got in, it just wasn’t an issue,” Teri explained. “The anticipation of it was scary and once I got in it, it wasn’t.”
